Our HRIS Strengthening Work Included In Top 25 List

The HRIS Strengthening work of the Capacity Project and CapacityPlus was recently named among the "Top 25 Open Access and Open Source Medical Projects." The list was posted on A Hearty Blog, a blog aimed at nurses that strives to provide readers with "the best news and information related to maintaining a healthy heart, mind, and body."

The post is timely as many health workers, including nurses, switch to electronic and online patient medical records, and pursue other similar efforts at the facility level. The blog says one way to ensure transparency and cooperation is through Open Source software, community, collaboration, and tools.

We are delighted to be included in this impressive list, which also includes OpenMRS, an Open Source medical record system. Please visit the blog to find out about other exciting open access and Open Source projects.
