Initial Data-Driven Decision-Making Workshop Held

A key challenge facing human resources for health (HRH) practitioners and policy-makers is to contextualize HR data and information for more effective policy-making and practice. For this reason, the Capacity Project developed a three-day workshop on data-driven decision-making processes and introduced it in Uganda in June. More than 20 mid-level HR planners and managers from the ministries of health and education and the faith-based sector used case studies and real HR data to address policy and management questions and determine next steps. The workshop and approach will be refined based on this initial application.
